Christin Murphy, Assistant Principal

I am absolutely delighted to be a part of the Zwink team as the assistant principal! I have served in many districts across the country, and as a graduate of Klein ISD, I am pleased to now be a part of this amazing district. I began my teaching career as a seventh and eighth grade teacher in Spring Branch ISD after earning my degree at Sam Houston State, and continued to teach in Georgia and New York. I then served as the librarian at Blackshear elementary for the four years, working with teachers on research and literacy to gain the Professional Support Staff Member of the Year and a grant from the Klein Education Foundation to use video conferencing as a research method for elementary students. Additionally, I worked three summers on the Reading Express, bringing Klein students an opportunity to read over the summer. When I am not teaming up with teachers to help students achieve greatness, I am playing slow-pitch softball or curled up with an excellent book of my own to read. I enjoy watching movies and playing with my two rescue dogs, River and Chewy. I look forward to another year of being a part of the Zwink leadership team.

Carissa Talk, Assistant Principal

I am excited to return to the Zwink team as one of the assistant principals. I grew up in Klein ISD and attended Klein schools throughout my education. I am happy to now be a part of what makes this district so successful. I started my teaching career at Zwink Elementary in first grade. After several years in first grade, I then moved onto becoming an assistant principal at another elementary school in Klein. It gives me great pleasure to be back "home" at Zwink. I have been honored to receive a Klein Education Grant, Rookie of the Year, and serve on the High Quality Teaching team. I enjoy working out and being outdoors. I have two dogs that keep me busy. Molly is 9 years old and a white Labrador retriever. Makenzie is not quite a year old, and she is a black lab mix that I adopted last year. I can't wait to help Zwink continue to achieve our "High Expectations, and High Support" for every child, every day.

Tannisha Oyeniyi, Assistant Principal

I am so excited to be a part of the Zwink family as an assistant principal! I am a proud University of Houston alumni and have been in education for eight years. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught first, third, and fourth grade in both Galena Park and Klein ISD. While serving the community of Galena Park, I was honored to receive the award for “District Rookie of the Year.” When I am not serving as an educator, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our lovely daughter Olivia. Inspiring students to develop a sense of lifelong learning is a definite passion of mine. I can’t wait to work with the Zwink community to help ensure Klein’s “Promise2Purpose” as we guarantee student success!

Stephanie Hathorn, School Counselor

I am so honored and excited to become part of the Zwink Zebra team! Upon graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, I began my teaching career in Galena Park ISD where I had the pleasure of teaching 3rd and 4th grade. During my time there, I was honored to be recognized as the Rookie Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year at my school. In 2014, I was thrilled to join Klein ISD as a 3rd grade teacher at Benignus Elementary, and now I am honored to join Zwink as the School Counselor! My husband and I have been married for 5 years and we enjoy spending time with our 2 dogs, traveling the lake on our boat, and watching Longhorn football! I am looking forward to a great year!
